First Destination Initiative
The First Destination Survey collects information on the post-graduate outcomes of UIC bachelor’s degree graduates within six months of graduation. The annual initiative provides clear, concise, and consistent data on career outcomes including continuing education, employment, U.S. military service, and volunteer service. As the report is a snapshot of graduates’ outcomes in the six months following graduation, it is not indicative or predictive of graduates’ long-term career outcomes. To confirm outcomes, data were collected from graduates through an online survey. Secondary data sources were also incorporated to supplement survey data. Certain filters and data are only accessible to faculty/staff who have completed UIC’s FERPA training and will require login with your UIC NetID credentials.
