Faculty & Staff Data
The Office of Institutional Research accesses UIC faculty and staff data for regular reporting and tracking of new hires, job appointments, occupational categories, and employee demographics.
The IPEDS dashboard represents this data as defined and reported to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) whereas Faculty/Staff FTE and Headcount dashboard uses October 10th HR Payroll Snapshot Files prepared by the University System Office for Planning and Budgeting. The numbers between the two dashboard may be different.
The Faculty/Staff Headcount/FTE dashboard is only accessible to faculty/staff who have completed UIC’s FERPA training. If you have any questions or concerns, contact oir-inquiry@uic.edu.
The Dashboard Information tab lists the data source, criteria, and notes regarding any changes in the data over the years.
