The Office of Institutional Research is responsible for state and federal governmental reporting at UIC. Federal reporting includes data submissions to IPEDS for student enrollment and university demographics, annual student headcounts, degrees awarded, tuition and fee information, student grants and scholarships, graduation trends, and university faculty and staff employment. Regular reporting for the Illinois Board of Higher Education includes UIC data on student applications, admitted student counts, updates of student enrollment, degrees conferred, academic degree headcounts, and tracking of key student subgroups.
